Andrew Johnson is a designer and a student at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
Born in the misty burg of Portland, and raised in the Middle Western enclave of Kansas City, Andrew Johnson has harbored an artistic inclination since wielding his first Crayola. After taking just about every high school art class available to him, and several hundred hours spent staring at album covers, liner notes and gig posters, he decided that a career in graphic design seemed a good fit. After a few years of campus-hopping (the University of Kansas for a year or so, Columbia College Chicago for a couple semesters), he heard tell of a certain design school in the San Gabriel hills. After a single visit to the campus, his academic wanderlust was cured. After being accepted, Andrew made the long drive across the scenic West, and began his studies Art Center College of Design in the fall of 2007.
Along with creating new and exciting works, Andrew enjoys photography, sketching, taking in a show at the local cineplex, discovering new music, traveling/adventuring, cycling, and sipping a strong coffee. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and two dachshunds.
